This updated and very clean Tahoe keys studio is perfect for a couple or a family with a kid or two. There is one CAl King bed, full bath, washer dryer and a pull out couch. This condo is located with easy access year round off of Ala Wai Boulevard in the Tahoe Keys. This studio features a gas fireplace, smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, full bath and a washer and dryer. This could become your favorite spot to use as a home base to explore Lake Tahoe. In the summer bring your bikes and take a ride to the lake, in the winter it is an easy drive to Heavenly Ski Resort, a bit farther Sierra at Tahoe or Kirkwood.

The living area has two comfortable couches facing the gas fireplace and the television.
There is a second small TV in the sleeping area.

The kitchen is upgraded and has every thing you need to prep meals during your stay.

The Cal King bed is set at the back of the unit and there is an accordion style screen to separate the sleeping area from the living area. The dining room tables seats 4 people and is adjacent to the kitchen.
There is a small patio area off the living area, a great spot to have a cup of coffee and enjoy our fresh mountain air (or a glass of wine and watch the spectacular sunsets).

Guests have the option of purchasing a pass to use the out door pool (seasonal), and the indoor pool currently being remodeled (HOA is still setting rules for vacation rentals, as they were just allowed again, policy may change).

City of South Lake Tahoe Permit Regulations state 4 adults (2 children under 13 may accompany you). There is a decibel monitor in the home and a ring camera on the entryway.

  We were visiting our son and family in the Keys for the weekend so we wanted a place close to them. This property fits its description if you read carefully. No view of the waterway (parking lot and main street). The property had not been cleaned when we arrived, but a call to management got that taken care of promptly and they graciously said they would refund the cleaning fee. The property is a large studio apt. which was adequate for our needs as we were only there to sleep. The kitchen is very cramped (the refrigerator door only opens 1/3 of the way) which would have been a large annoyance if we did any cooking which we didn't. The bed was very comfortable with a good assortment of pillows. The property is minimally supplied with amenities, not like many of the VRBO places we have stayed at before. The lounging chair was very comfortable but the sofas needed new springs as we sank in deeply. It had the smallest TV we have ever seen in a rental. We had to put two of the dining chairs in front of the coffee table in order to be close enough to see adequately.

  My boyfriend and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend. We booked last minute, so our options were limited, but this ended up being perfect for what we needed. The location was easy enough to drive to South Lake Tahoe and nearby beaches and the dedicated parking spot was right outside the front door. There was not much within walking distance, but we knew this going into it. We did not purchase the pass to use the pool or hot tubs, but it would have been nice to have info on if/how we could access the Tahoe Keys Beach at the end of the street.
  
  The place itself was cozy and spacious enough for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and appliances all in working condition. One minor complaint is that there was no body soap in the shower. There was shampoo (small hotel sized mini bottle), but that was it. This is a simple thing to provide for an easy and comfortable stay - I understand many places don't stock conditioner, but I would have anticipated shampoo and body wash. Otherwise, the place was well stocked and we were very happy with it.
  
  Staff was communicative and able to give us late checkout for no extra charge, which we greatly appreciated!

    Thank you for the detailed review, we appreciate it. You were only our second guest so I will check on soaps (there should have been bar soap at least) I had asked if you wanted to purchase the beach pass, we have to send in separate paperwork for that, I apologize if you didn't get my note.
