This cozy 3 bedroom cabin is located in the great South Lake Tahoe neighborhood of Meyers. This is a great location to use as a home base for all your Tahoe adventures: hiking, biking, skiing, golf, playing at the Lake, playing at Tahoe Paradise Park just to mention a few. The community of Meyers has a few great restaurants and a full service store (Holiday Market) so no need to drive into town if you don't want to.
This cabin has a fully fenced backyard, deck area to relax and BBQ dinner. (new deck in the backyard)
The first floor features an open living area, full kitchen, full bath and one bedroom. The living room has a gas fireplace, tv and lots of cozy seating. It is a great spot to gather the family together. The dining room table seats 6 and there are bar stools at the kitchen counter.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and a full bath.

The El Dorado County vacation rental ordinances strictly limit and monitor occupancy and the # of vehicles. Quiet hours are strictly enforced 10:00pm-8:00am
Fines will be imposed upon guest of record for any violations of the ordinances.

While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.

Maximum Number of Occupants 6, children 5 and under are not counted, occupancy rules in effect at all times.
Maximum Number of Vehicles: 4 must be parked in the carport or the driveway, no street or dirt parking allowed
Trash: All trash must be placed in the metal bear proof box adjacent to the driveway
When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries disappear)

  Yard was overgrown, tall grass, weeds. Inside was ok, had to air out it smelled old & musty. Was told there were ceiling fans in each room, wrong!! Only one small box fan for both floors and house was unbearably hot upstairs. Glad we only had a 4 day stay. Beds were comfortable, nice patio set, plenty of sofas for seating.

    We supplied 2 box fans and a stand up fan, I don't believe we ever said ceiling fans, if someone did I apologize. You were hear unfortunately during a record breaking heat wave. Thank you for the feedback, the property is "naturally" landscaped no grass. We are sorry you were not satisfied with your stay.

  We had a wonderful time at this property. It was clean and comfortable and very well stocked with anything we needed. We loved being farther out from the tourist area. We would definitely want to come back again.Only item I will note and no stars off for is the placement of the toilet paper holder downstairs like another reviewer mentioned. It would be so much roomier if moved under the towel rack in front of the toilet.

  Overall good. Quiet neighborhood. Close to S Lake Tahoe golf course. No heat upstairs with exception of electric blankets. Dishware silverware old but serviceable. Great room very comfortable. Basic cable. Backyard and back deck a mess.. keep your car locked with no food in it. We were lucky as a bear entered ours but didn’t destroy anything.

    Thank you for the notes-greatly appreciated. I have cleaned up the back deck, but the wind storms this year have been amazing. Yes Bears have been very active this year, one destroyed my assistants car and she has lived here 28 years and knew not to leave anything in her car. Lock your doors and remove anything with any sort of scent, even air freshners.
