Looking for a great spot for Thanksgiving, this home has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room table and games for all.
The Golden Bear Tahoe home is well set up for family vacations, a chance to get away to Lake Tahoe and relax. All new furnishings (summer of 2021) and new appliances in the kitchen. The home features upstairs living to enjoy the views of acres of forest across the street. Upstairs you will find the spacious living room with comfortable couch and flat screen TV. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and dining area. The primary suite is on the upper level also. The front deck is a great spot to have your morning coffee and plan the day’s adventures. The living also includes an air hockey game and foosball.
The deck off the dining area has patio furniture and a propane BBQ.
The lower level includes a family room with smart tv and 3 bedrooms and a full bath. The access to the fenced backyard and hot tub is off the family room. The family room has a Mortal Kombat arcade style game and 1 fast and furious game.

The Golden Bear Trail neighborhood is conveniently located off of Pioneer Trail, it is an easy drive to Heavenly Ski Resort, The Heavenly Village at Stateline and Tahoe beaches and hiking trails. Immediately across the street from this home you can access acres of open forest great for long walks, or snow shoes or cross country skis in the winter.

Parties/Weddings/Bachelor or Bachelorette parties not allowed. El Dorado County noise ordinances will be enforced, neighbors do live here full time and request a peaceful and quiet enjoyment of the home.

While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries) Golden Bear Trail is a primary plow road.

  Place is clean and spacious. Wish there were some lights at the kitchen as it was dark... also, plastic wraps in bed were a bit odd - makes noise when you sleep. The heating fan needs fixing as it makes loud noise.

  We got to SLT before the normal check-in, but not to worry the house was ready and we went right in. The house is large all 10 of us had comfortable bedrooms. The jigsaw puzzle on the kitchen table was a huge hit. All of us spent time fitting pieces together. We didn't even think about turning on the tv all weekend. We took advantage of the outside table and chairs for all meals. It was a quiet location, the house was spotless and several of us took advantage of the woods across the street for walks or jogs. We would book the house again.

  The rental was clean with new furniture and appliances. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the home was ready to rent. It was the hottest weekend in Lake Tahoe and with no AC it was very uncomfortable. Some windows and sliders didn’t have screens so we couldn’t open to
  Let air in. Also, the street noise in master bed is awful. Since it was hot we opened window and the sound of traffic all through the night made for sleepless nights!
