This “Home Away from Home” boasts National Forest Land in front and spectacular views of Angora Peak and Echo Peak from the spacious rear balcony. It’s the perfect mountain getaway with easy access to Heavenly, Sierra At Tahoe and Kirkwood Ski Resorts, Lake Tahoe public access beaches, and plenty of National Forest Land hiking and biking trails only steps from the front door.
Large open kitchen/dining/living room is home to a cozy fireplace and beautiful views out of every window.
Primary Bedroom Suite includes spacious bathroom with whirlpool bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long hike or a day at the ski run.
Downstairs family room includes a TV that is streaming only (FIRE TV), plus books and games for the whole family.
Additional bedrooms are private and cozy. Office bedroom is ready for your remote office needs and includes an extra monitor, wireless printer and internet enabled Wi-Fi.
Enjoy long walks in the Angora Highlands. Paddleboard or swim at nearby Fallen Leaf Lake. Spend your time skiing at Heavenly Resort only minutes away. Or hibernate in front of the fireplace, gazing at the beautiful mountain views. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do!

Upstairs:
Great room accented by a gas fireplace, spacious seating area, flat screen TV (Google TV) dining table and a table for card games or puzzles, The kitchen has plenty of space for family to help cook, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, 5 burner gas stove add to the ease of preparing meals.
The dining room table seats 8, and is adjacent to the deck with a gas bbq.
The second deck is off the living area and overlooks the fenced backyard.

The primary bedroom suite is located on the upper level but set apart from the living room in case someone wants to retire early and boasts a Standard King bed with full bath including separate shower and jetted tub.

A half bath and full laundry room complete the upper level amenities. There is air conditioning for the upstairs areas.

Home currently set up with cable, but that will be transitioned to internet based streaming.

There is parking in the garage for 2 cars, and room in the driveway for 2 more.

Maximum occupancy: 8 people, children 5 and under are not counted, occupancy rules in effect at all times.

While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.

  We had a marvelous time! The home was clean and it had a well stocked kitchen with excellent cooking utensils, appliances, pots/pans and extra amenities. The beds were comfortable (all 4), the bathrooms were great and the home was nicely furnished and comfortable as well.

  Overall it was good, however some deficiencies were noted. Lower level had no Air Conditioning. Garage didn't open not enough detergent for clothes some bugs came inside and when contacted we were told to buy insect killer and spray. One of the trash Box was removed by the city while we were there with a new anchor or pole for a new one to be replaced later, therefore on our checkout we had problem for disposing our trash. Supplies could have been more considering 8 people for 5 nights. Location was good property was clean quiet and peaceful.

  This is such a lovely home. It felt very inviting from the moment we pulled in the driveway. The home is spacious and very clean. The teens had their own area and then we had a nice dinner space where we all came together. The home is in a nice, easy to find location- Not in the middle of town and away from the crowd, but an easy quick drive to the action. There is a very pretty view. This is exactly what our family needed. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.
