Das Wald Haus is located in the Myers area of South Lake Tahoe, CA. It is the perfect home base for those that love to ski Sierra At Tahoe, mountain bike, boulder, hike and explore Tahoe from Kirkwood, Echo Lake to the shores of Lake Tahoe. The community of Myers has several restaurants and The Holiday market for your shopping needs. Locals love: The Getaway Cafe, Myers Downtown Cafe, Divided Sky, Frescana Mexican Bistro. Close to Tahoe Paradise Park (concerts, pickle ball, disc golf, kids play area, on the River and Lake Barron).
This neighborhood is famous for its ancient cedar trees and there is a gorgeous one in the front yard.

The home features upstairs living with an open great room living area, kitchen and dining space with access to the sunny back deck. The huge master bedroom is located on the upper level. The entry level has two bedrooms and a full bath. The large screen TV has ROKU and is a smart TV so you can access your streaming accounts ( No cable)

Details:
The living room is accented by high vaulted ceilings and a cozy gas fireplace. There are blankets to snuggle in while watching your favorite movie or just enjoying the fire. Adjacent to the living area is well equipped kitchen with granite counters and a 5 burner gas stove. The dining table is next to the slider to the upstairs deck.

The primary bedroom has a queen bed, and a private bath with jetted tub and a separate shower stall.

There is a half bath off of the living room.

The two bedrooms downstairs share a full bath in the hallway.
The first bedroom is a queen bed and has nautical theme decor.
The second bedroom is designed for the kids, there is a bunk bed that is a double bed on the lower part and a twin bed on the upper section.
Fully Equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, ready for you to cook your family dinners, (BBQ on the deck).

The backyard is fully fenced. Tahoe Paradise park is nearby and has a playground, Lake Barron and concerts in the summer time, and a farmer's market on Wednesdays. Tahoe Paradise Golf course minutes away, Lake Tahoe golf course minutes away. This is such a great spot to plan your families vacation-hiking, mountain biking, golf, exploring (skiing in the winter, near Tahoe tube for sledding).

The garage is accessible for guests, bring your bikes or your skis and leave them securely in the garage. The driveway is small, if you are driving large SUVs or trucks please car pool.
Owners have a ring video on entry and outside stairs.
Pets not allowed.

Maximum Occupancy is 8, children 5 and under are not counted. Occupancy rules are in effect at all times
Maximum Number of Vehicles is 4, if they fit in the garage or driveway, if driving larger vehicles 3 may only fit. Street or dirt parking is not allowed.
Quiet Hours Must Be Observed between 10:00pm-8:00am

Note for all reservations:
While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snow plows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)

  This was a good rental cabin that provides excellent access in South Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed the comfortable living room and nice, open kitchen. The appliances are new and very nice.
  
  The house heats unevenly. It was quite cold on the lower level where two bedrooms are, and got very warm upstairs.
  
  We had an issue during our stay where the driveway was not plowed all day, so we had to do some shoveling. Not a big deal, but an inconvenience because plowing was listed as part of the service. It was during the big, big snowstorms so I'm sure all of the plowing companies had their hands full.
  
  The master bedroom has some kind of mattress cover that feels plastic-y, not super comfortable.
  
  Overall, it was a nice cabin with a flat driveway and a nice, open kitchen and we enjoyed all of that.

  The property is in good condition, it is located in a great location, quiet neighborhood but yet easily accessible.
  The pinnacle service team is great to accommodate our schedule and pretty responsive. There was a heavy snow during our stay there, and the road to garage got cleaned up a couple days later by the service team.
  One thing not up to the standard consider all others was the freezer did not work, hope it got fixed soon.
  Overall, I like the place and it is very suitable for a family leisure trip.

  This home is clean and spacious. The master is on the top floor and is large with a great bathroom. Whirlpool tub and separate shower were clean. The kitchen is clean with stainless steel appliances, microwave, oven and dishwasher worked perfectly. Back deck is large with a gas grill (needs a grill brush). Downstairs is much cooler (temperature) compared to upstairs, 2 bedrooms, full bath and new washer and dryer. This was the perfect home to rest after our extended vacation. The only recommendation would be to update the couches!

  This house was great! Our toddler LOVED the kid themed room down stairs and the bunk beds and the master bedroom was a dream! Only slight bummer was that the master and the kids room were on separate levels of the house, but I really appreciated the kid-proof locks on the garage and front doors as well as the child proofing throughout the house. It honestly felt as safe for our kids as being at home. The house is also walking distance to a lake and beautiful little recreational area so we didn’t have to go far to keep our kids and ourselves entertained. The hosts left very clear instructions for how to use everything throughout the home so we had an incredibly relaxing experience like we were hoping for. We will definitely be renting this home again.

  Easy check in and communication. Place was excellent for a small family and it had everything we needed. My 2.5 year old loved the play structure. The house doesn’t have AC, but we knew that going in, the daytime was a little warm but otherwise lots of windows for ventilation. This is a great place to stay.

  We were very pleased to find the home was exactly how the pictures looked! It is a great floor plan perfect for our 2 small families (3 kids, 4 adults) to share! The kitchen was mostly stocked with enough dishes. I do suggest bringing more pans/skillet if you plan on a big pancake breakfast. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were plenty! The jet tub is beyond amazing!! The location is great too. Flat plowed roads made very easy access. The house is perfectly centrally located within minutes of everything we did including, Snowmobile tour, snow park and ski resorts. The neighbors were all friendly and the neighborhood kids greeted our kids the first day.
  Small complaints- there was a need for clear instructions for the several thermostats. One room was ice cold and the other burning hot. Front porch light doesn’t work and is very dangerous. Access to the back yard is only thru the front side gate. As a mom, I wish there were stairs from the balcony for easier access.
  All in all we would defiantly rent here again, but this time in summer for a new experience!
