Skyline View is a fantastic family retreat situated in a prestigious area of South Lake Tahoe. Conveniently located 12 minutes from Heavenly, Stateline and all South Shore beaches makes Skyline View a dynamite "basecamp" for all things Tahoe.
Large 2600 sq ft two story home, top level boasting a large master suite with spacious bathroom, half bath, a bright airy great room with kitchen, pantry, dining area and living room with 60" Flat Screen TV with Blu-Ray home theater system, and full size air mattress and tons of "spread-out" room. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, and gas range, toaster, coffee-maker, and dining sets for 12+ people and everything you could need in a fully functional kitchen. HD televisions in all rooms have cable, the living room also has Showtime/HBO with surround sound. A separate entertainment room provides pool table, "Elvis" pin ball machine, gas fireplace, 52" Flat Screen TV with sound system and IPOD dock along with plenty of games and activities to provide entertainment for all ages during your vacation stay.


For the business minded the home has wifi throughout with a dedicated work area with desk, printer, scan, and fax capabilities. The lower level has a total of 4 spacious bedrooms all with 40" flat screen TVs, 2 full baths, for a total of 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
Speakers on the large deck overlooking backyard set the mood for the 8 person hot tub to enjoy after a day on the slopes or an evening viewing the stars. The gas bbq is available for enjoyment in all seasons. Skyline View is perfect for large families looking for that special Tahoe Vacation Retreat!

The home does allow 1-2 dogs, there will be a $250.00 pet deposit, refundable if all is ok and there is not extra cleaning due to the pet. Please make sure you clean up any messes outside and in. The yard is not fenced.

Guest of record must be 25 years of age.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads..
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)

  Booking through the VRBO app was a breeze as usual, and the property management company was in contact with us right away! The communication was clear and concise, and the house was perfect for a large group getaway for New Years. The common room accommodated everyone comfortably, and the rooms were all well equipped with quality linens.   Great location. Great cookware. Great space for a large family gathering. The heat was wonky. With only one control, cold up and hot downstairs. The rug needs to be redone. A couple people hurt themselves on exposed rug nails (by kitchen and on stairs). More towels needed (one washcloth pp for a week is not enough) and could be cleaned better (cobwebs in main light in dining area where we are thanksgiving dinner)

  The location of this property was great! Nice quiet neighborhood, but not too far from town. The hot tub was nice and the beds were comfy. The game room was also a fun hang out spot. The staff made the check in/check out process really simple which was great.
  My only complaint is that a lot of the cookware and appliances weren't great. The cookware was dirty/greasy from past guests where it's unusable and the appliances (minus the dishwasher) were finicky. There's also some exposed wires on the walls which felt unsafe, but otherwise it was a good experience.

  Overall we had a great experience during our visit. The house definitely feels larger than it looks in the pictures, we were perfectly comfortable with 8 adults, three kids (5, 12, 17), and a dog. The kitchen is very well stocked, with everything we needed to cook meals for our large group. There were some relatively minor maintenance issues: the washer and dryer were both broken and no one was able to come look at it during our one-week stay, some cracks in the walls/ceiling, outlets not working in the master bathroom upstairs, toilet paper roll holders not well attached to the walls, etc., but we were able to manage despite these issues. The maintenance team is not highly responsive - you call and leave a message and they get back to you anywhere from a couple hours to days to never. The only thing I really wish they had fixed was the washer/dryer, we ended up having to wash some of our clothes by hand.
  
  We happened to stay during the major holiday storm/snowmageddon, and the rental company was very accommodating and let us stay an additional night since we quite literally could not get out. The residential street this house sits on is apparently not a high priority for the snow plows. We could barely get out the next day even with AWD and snow chains on all cars.
  
  Overall I would stay here again if we go to Tahoe with a large group, as long as heavy snow is not in the forecast!

  This place was IMMACULATELY CLEAN. The decor may be a bit dated, but everything was in perfect condition and everything you could need to host a large group. Plenty of beds, and you can't hear anything in the lower bedrooms. The only downside are the stairs up to the front door. Felt a bit like a workout every time so be prepared if you aren't in shape. Also, the driveway to park the cars is very narrow, but does fit two cars.

  We enjoyed our stay at this home. The location was great, within 10 miles of everything we needed, however, it could use some updating. Quite a few blinds were damaged or missing, the sofas need to be replaced. The bedrooms were fine and master bathroom very spacious and nice. We were pleased to see a ton of board games until we tried to play. All of them were missing so many pieces that we actually couldn't play any. The kitchen was well stocked and there is plenty of seating for dining. It snowed so it was beautiful. Great time of year to visit.

  In general we really enjoyed our stay, the lack of chachkies that could get broken was much appreciated. The house is a good size, every room has a TV for a little quiet time away from the group, the hot tub was nice and the kitchen was easy for 4 of us to prep dinner in each day. As former Tahoe residents we appreciated a comfortable and safe trip back home, while staying at this rental. There were several problems with the house and the office responded quickly. You need to know this is smack-dab in the middle of a neighborhood with small lots. Don't even think you will do soomething outside the rules, the neighbors are right there and can see the house and back deck clearly.

  Description was accurate except for 3.5 bathrooms not 4. For dining there were only 6 chairs and 4 stools for up to 14 people. The living room space could only seat about 6 or 7 people. The downstairs bedrooms were pretty small and the beds were on pedestals and were somewhat difficult to get in and out of. The back deck moved whenever a person walked on it and it gave splinters and needed a paint job badly. Other wise the pool table and pinball machine were a big hit. Nice location and neighbor to the left of the house was very nice.

  Lovely spacious home. Fully equipped with almost everything you could need... from linen, seasonings, to board games!. The high chair and pac n play even came in handy! Pinnacle was also gracious enough to give me an early check in and late check out. Only downside is that the BBQ rests at a slant, the jets weren't working in the master bath and one night lamp in the master bedroom was not working. Other than that everything was great. My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed and loved our stay. Would book again.

  The house looked very much like the pictures. We did have to play "musical vehicles" to keep all 4 in the garage and driveway, but we made it work. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. We were quite impressed. We discovered that the air mattresses did not work, but they came with replacements when we called to let them know about it. Overall, we were happy with our rental choice.

  The house was maintained clean and well. We had good time at pool table. Hot Tub did not work, we had called twice and they said they were going to send somebody which did not happen. Listing clearly mentioned it has Air Conditioner which was our main criteria when looking for a place as we have two infants. One good thing was they were able to extend our checkout time which was nice.I would recommend this place if you do not need AC.
