Leave the world behind in the privacy of this true Tahoe log home. The Moose Lodge is surrounded by decks and forest on 3 sides.
As you enter into the great room your eyes are drawn to the granite fireplace, soaring vaulted ceilings, log details and windows looking out over the woods. The first floor (upstairs from garage) features the living room, spacious kitchen, half bath and primary suite. The second floor hosts an open loft TV room, full bath and 3 bedrooms nestled under the log beams.
This log home retreat is located less than 10 minutes from Heavenly and all the activities Tahoe has to offer (great restaurants, shopping, night clubs and casinos). In the other direction the community of Meyers with a grocery store and restaurants is 10 minutes away, and Sierra At Tahoe is approximately 25-30 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions.

Primary Bedroom: King Bed, access to the deck, full private bath
Second Bedroom: Queen bed

Third Bedroom: Queen Pine Bed and beautiful quilts
Fourth Bedroom: Perfect for the kids, Two twin beds and a bunk bed that is a full bed on the bottom and twin above
Full Bath
Off the garage is an entry with plenty of room to store your skis, boards and other snow gear.

Home does not have air conditioning.
When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads. This road is not a primary plow, and is not plowed immediately.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries) Acoma Circle is not a primary plow road and you must be prepared to wait for the county plow crews during heavy snow season.

While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.

The homeowner has installed exterior cameras to watch for bears and pets, pets are not allowed at this home. Thank you for your cooperation.

  We had a great time at this beautiful log cabin. The space is great for interacting, with a great kitchen and dining room. The living room was very nice too and was overlooked by a playroom with a fusball table. The kids loved the sledding by the house. There are lots of stairs, so not great for older guests. Most of the doors did not close well, so just don't jam them shut. We had a lot of snow and the house is at the bottom of an incline, so make sure you have AWD, snow tires and/or chains if you are going out of the house during a snow storm. Also if you have kids, know that the layout is master bedroom in the main floor and three bedrooms in the top floor (with their own bathroom), so not great for those who want to sleep next to their kids.

  The place was large and gorgeous with a nice spacious yard, kitchen with dining for 8 (perfect for playing games), and a grand room. The property management team was very responsive and helpful. The only downside if you're going during the winter is that the property is on a very low priority road for the county plow so we weren't able to leave to ski 3 of the days we wanted to. Kids still had fun playing in the snow in the large yard, but we were happy we came prepared with food.

  This was a great location and a great rental although I wish the rental didn’t have so much decor and personal stuff in it, felt a little weird seeing the family’s pictures everywhere and extra stuff that made the cabin feel smaller. Also there was a loud noise that hummed in the master bedroom downstairs, made it very difficult to sleep.
  
  I also noticed lots of dead Beatles in the window seal in the master bathroom downstairs. Really made me feel uncomfortable and the light in the living room burnt out the first night.
  
  Lastly, the deck was great but I wish it had access to the yard without having to go downstairs and walk around the house to get to it.

  We had a wonderful weekend away, the house was perfect size and location, especially for sledding. We found a few issues with the house, the door to the back deck in the kitchen was broken and the handle fell off. The upstairs shower was not functional at all, the bathtub even had troubles draining. The master bathroom had no issues, so we all used that one for showers. Finally, the air inside was just filled with dust, the air filters seems very old. Outside of that, it was a great time and we loved the house. One of the best tahoe kitchen I have seen. Most rentals are not stocked as well.

  What a perfect jumping off point for a beautiful stay in Tahoe!
  Highlights:
  -Hot tub is bigger than it looks in the pictures!
  -Kitchen is roomy and well stocked with cooking supplies. We cooked all our meals at the house with no problem (though don't expect basics like salt or oil to be there)
  -Kitchen table is plenty large for everyone to share.
  -Awesome decor, we counted over 100 moose images/statues/etc. throughout the house.
  -Very clean!!
  -About 30 minutes away from all our weekend activities (hiking at Emerald Bay, Fallen Leaf Lake, etc.)
  -Stocked with sleds, and since the house is on a hill, you can just step outside the door for a thrill ride.
  -Shockingly great sheets.
  
  Downsides:
  -Since one of the bathrooms is an en suite, that only leaves two for everyone else which can be frustrating depending on how many you have in your party.

  Family of seven enjoyed a four night stay with plenty of on site snow to play in without finding a sno park or hill, enjoyed easy access to Pioneer Trail to get to Sierra Tahoe for skiing and to Stateline Area for activities. Had an issue with the hot tub but the Pinnacle team took quick action to resolve. Lots of room, beds, etc. we will definitely return to Moose Lodge.

  PROS: The house was spacious (we had 12 adults).
  The views and location was beatiful. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked.
  
  CONS: The hot tub water smelled musty and old which was a bummer since we really wanted to use it.
  The dishwasher was full when we arrived and we weren't sure if the dishes had been washed. We later tried using the dishwasher and realized that it wasn't taking the soap.
  Trash was confusing, probably because it had snowed so much, there was apparently a key on the right side of the bear box but we couldn't find it in the 4 ft of snow.
  The TV didn't work. Not so much of an issue for me but some of the guys really wanted to watch March Madness.
  When booking, the title of the listing saud the house sleeps 12, but when reviewing the bed situation we realized there's only enough beds for 11 people. We had to bring an air mattress for the extra adult only to find out there was enough beds for 12 once we arrived.
  
  Even with the cons, I would rent the house again.

    Thank you for the feedback, we will work on those items (hot tub is supposed to be checked prior to each arrival we will communicate with the hot tub technician and refund your hot tub service fee). I will also have my TV tech check the televisions. The software we use posts the maximum allowed occupancy per the permit as "sleeps" in the description there is a detailed breakdown of the bed set up. Bear proof garbage boxes are a necessity in Tahoe but if you are not familiar with them it is confusing, there is a hex key on the side of the box that opens the lock. Please let us know if you want to stay again we can offer you a repeat visitor discount.
