While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.

Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)

  We submitted our reservations last spring for the week of September 20th. Then the Caldor Fire and its smoke required South Lake evacuation two weeks prior to our visit. Our host was in constant communication with us even though she had the stress of needing to evacuate herself. We were fortunate that the evacuation order was lifted and the fire contained just prior to our visit. Michelle (our host) allowed us up to the last minute to decide whether to keep our reservation or not. We kept it and the space was great for my wife and I and our two grown children. We would definitely stay here again. Especially if Michelle was the host!

  This place is almost directly in town, a perfect place for walking. While it is a bit dated, it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub didn't disappoint. I would definitely recommend this condo!

  We have rented several houses etc during our travels and this was the worst. I knew it was outdated but the black mold in both bathrooms was horrible. Our twenty-some year old kids were even disgusted by it. It was the end of our trip after staying at 2 other rentals. If we could have found something else, we certainly would have. The pool picture shown is not even close to what it looks like. No chairs or umbrellas. 4 units in our building and the others had a nice bistro set outside their door and ours was old and ugly.
  Carpet has stains and the end table had mold under the glass.
  Steer clear of this rental. I sent pictures of mold to contact so they knew how bad it was.

  This was a sweet condo that was very affordable for the size. We had 4 women share, but could have had 6 comfortably. The condo was clean and had the basics. The pool area was nice and the location was close to the lake, close to state line and was a very pretty neighborhood to walk in. I'd recommend and am also looking to rent it again next year.

  Location is walking distance to groceries and casinos. Beds were comfortable, kitchen adequate and it was quiet. This place met all of our needs. However it could use some updating, mainly carpet and bathrooms. I am not ultra picky but the carpet is pretty bad, very dark stains and a little dirty. Walk around in light colored socks and they turn dark very quickly. Others have mentioned it, time to replace it! On the hottest day the pool was closed. Not the property owners fault but it was frustrating.
  
  I would like to say I would recommend this property to a friend but due to the carpet I would have to say no.

  When we arrived to our rental, it looked great. Nice and clean, no visible problems were noticed right away, however, after a couple hours we noticed that a valve from the water heater had been leaking and overflowed into the hallway. Management was very helpful in sending out a maintenance professional right away and we ended up switching to another unit for the rest of our stay. Location is decent, not too far from Casinos and Heavenly Villiage, but also not quite walking distance either of you have small children. I can say that I would have preferred to stay in this first unit, 1148A, because the paint/furnishings were of lighter colors and made the place feel more “homey”. The unit we were transferred to was very dark and not as cozy.

  Overall, it was very good. The unit is nicely furnished and comfortable to stay in.
  One problem was that the oven didn't work. We reported it to the mgt. company and were told a maintenance man would repair it, but nobody ever came to repair it.

  We had a lovely week, and the condo was convenient and set among the pines. The only problem was that the TV remotes didn't work. (The instructions sheet said "Use the Sony remote" but there were no Sony remotes in sight.) We were stubborn and kept trying. But since we were staying for a week and wanted to watch a few movies, after 3 days we finally called the rental company, and they sent the IT person over. He couldn't make them work either -- apparently the owner had replaced the equipment without changing the remotes or the instructions sitting out for the renter. (The correct remotes were probably in the locked cabinet.) The IT guy replaced the remotes, gave us new instructions, then we were fine.
